How long does it take to remove my tattoo?
In our experience it can take a minimum of 6-8 weeks, sometimes longer, depending on the tattoo. If the tattoo is jet black or tribal ink, then it would be longer. During a consultation we can give you a more accurate indication.
Does tattoo removal hurt?
There is some level of discomfort, but it is manageable. We can guide you on ways to minimise any discomfort during the process. Using an ice pack to cool the area down helps hugely. You can also use a numbing cream, must be put on at least an hour before treatment for best results.
Will removing a tattoo leave a scar?
It depends on your skin type, but not usually. If your body is prone to scarring, such as KELOID scarring, we would recommend not having your tattoo removed at all.
Can you remove only parts of a tattoo?
Yes, this can be done easy using a technique which enables us to not touch the rest of the tattoo. We can pin point only what needs to be removed
Are there side effects?
The most common side effects are redness, tenderness, swelling, bruising, blisters, and scabbing. Some clients are prone to hyper or hypo pigmentation. This means that dark skin can lose its natural colour and people with light skin can have a darker colour left. However we do everything possible to minimise any discomfort from side effects.
